Does YouTim completely replace WhatsApp?
For organising a group, yes: chat, photos, voice messages, reactions, targeted replies and messages to one or several people. YouTim doesn't offer voice or video calls.
Does everyone need to install the app?
No. YouTim also works in a browser, with nothing to install; all you need is an account (an email address is enough). The mobile app adds push notifications.
Is YouTim really free?
Yes. YouTim is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases: every service is available to everyone. Each user gets 1 GB of storage.
Can I import a WhatsApp group or a Tricount?
Not automatically. You invite members by sharing the YouTim invitation link, for example in the existing WhatsApp group, then log new expenses in the YouTim budget.
How many people can I invite?
Up to 200 members per YouTim, and you can create as many YouTims as you like: one for the family, one for the club, one for the trip.
