Is YouTim Poll really free?
Yes, completely free, with no in-app purchases and no ads.
How is this different from Doodle?
The poll is reserved for the YouTim's members: no public link sent to strangers, everyone votes with their own account and you know who has replied. Choices are open — dates, places, gift ideas… — and the admin can send a reminder to those who haven't voted yet.
Are votes anonymous?
Not for admins, who always see who voted for what. For members, it depends on the setting: by default, everyone sees the results and everyone's votes; with private vote, each person only sees their own vote; if the YouTim's member list is hidden, the totals remain visible, but not who voted for what.
Can a poll have several choices?
Yes, up to 20 choices, each with a photo if needed. For each choice, people answer yes or no; the admin can add the “if necessary” answer or allow only one choice per person. Choices are managed by the admin.
Can I send a reminder to those who haven't voted?
Yes: the admin reminds non-voters in one go, by push notification, or by email if they don't have the app.
How do I close a poll?
The admin closes the poll once the decision is made: no one can vote any more, and the results remain available.
Do I need an account to vote?
Yes: only the YouTim's members vote. You join the YouTim through an invitation (email, link, SMS), with its invitation code or its QR code. An email address is enough to create an account; no phone number is required.
